Is this the most competitive NBA regular season of all-time?

I can't remember a season when I have been more excited about the NBA standings - specifically the Western Conference. Every night there's bound to be a few games involving the top teams. I can't fathom a team as dangerous and exciting as the Warriors missing out on the playoffs but it's very likely they could.

Wow, this is the most exciting year ever. The West could have 9 teams to win 50 games and one of them will be left out of the playoff, wow, that's insane. The West top 8 teams that's fighting for the playoff is separate only by 6 games, the top team in the West is only leading the #8 team by only 6 games, this is crazy competitive. If any teams lose a couple games in a row they can fall from top to #3 in a matter of no time. So look for an exciting end to the regular season and look for a more exciting playoff year ever.

For the East: NO! not at all only a couple of good, competitive teams.

West: YES! one of the best in history look at all those great teams fighting for a playoff spot if there was a team that was a couple spots out of the playoffs in the west and put them in the east, they'd be the top 5 team! thats how competitive it is! If your #1 in the west or upper seed and lose a couple then your out of the picture..very competitive
yeah it is one of the most competitive that i have ever witnessed. except for in the eastern conference. all the east has is detriot, boston, orlando, and maybe... maybe cleveland. the west is so tight and nobody can afford to lose even 2 games. it is going to be crazy interesting at the end of the season. "where amazing happens" is going to happen alot
yes. 50 players have been traded IN FEBRUARY ONLY including 10 draft picks. if you include the other months it would be the celtics trade which got them to have the best record in the league so far and the heat/timberwolves trade. Teams are trading their superstars away, such as jason kidd and pau gasol. its been very competitve and lots of teams want to win a championships now. it looked like the celtics would win the championships for the whole first half of the season but now, who knows?

its been competitve mostly in the west though. ten teams all worthy to be in the playoffs are competing to get in the playoffs. a two game losing streak might send you from first to sixth (mavs before) and a 14 game winning streak can send you from ninth place to 7th place only (rockets). if ninth place denver moved to the east they would be 3rd.

the east has been very quiet except for the two teams with th best record (boston and detroit) have been making some noise, but that is all they got
yep in the west

2 teams could end up with 50 wins in the West and not even make the playoffs while they could easily end up with a top 3 seed in the pathetic East
all I got to say is GO WARRIORS.
its all about the Lakers....and yes...this is a very competitive NBA season...
In the west
What are you, like 10 years old or something?
