Would you say this was the most exciting NBA season ever?

Things that happened this seasoned:

1) KG %26amp; Allen to Boston, what a turnaround

2) Pau Gasol to LA, what a robbery

3) Jason Kidd from Jersey to Dallas and the Devean George veto

4) Shaq to Phoenix

5) 8 teams in the West get 50 wins

6) Jason Kidd got his 100th career triple double on the last day of the season

7) The Lakers and Hornets emergence

8) The Rockets 22 game winning streak

9) Lebron's Oscar Robertson like season

10) Kobe wanting to jump ship at the start, and may end up as MVP.

11) Dwight Howard's superman dunk at the All-Star game

12) Increasing television ratings for the NBA

13) The Playoffs haven't even started! Look at the 1st round matchups...(LA vs. Denver), (SA vs. Phoenix), (Houston vs. Utah), (Dallas vs. N.O.), (Detroit vs. Philly), %26amp; (Cavs vs. Wizards)

Feel free to add to the list, I may be missing something.

So would you say this was the most exciting NBA season ever?

Would you say this was the most exciting NBA season ever?nba live 2006

It was a pretty exciting year. It all depends on what team you are a fan of. Obviously if you are a heat fan you would think this season sucked. Other than that there was a lot of excitement that happened this year. Many good trades and a really good playoff race in the West. Personally I think it was one of the most exciting seasons in recent history.

Would you say this was the most exciting NBA season ever?nba gear ,nba teams

I think that it is...of this decade. every decade has one spectacular season. this is the best season of this decade so far. to me the second best season of this decade so far would have to be the 2002-2003 season.
All that was good for the nba.

Now they need a reemergence of a lakers/celtics finals.

with LA beating the Celtics in 7 with a game winning shot from kobe.
yep i have to say it was so exciting to watch..each and every player in the western conference had to play their hearts out for 82 games, none of them rested! this was truly amazing
The Western Conference was the most competitive and most exciting in NBA history

PERIOD

its gonna get even more competitive next year
I think it is..because of the big 3 of the celtics...the shufflings of players...maybe the come back of kobe as the mvp...and also the good performance hornets..
Nope the shorten 50 game season was the best~~shorten the season and the playoffs should be One and done~
I definitely agree with you; the Western conference playoff race was the most impressive thing to me.
Definitely one of the best and most unpredictable seasons in a long time.
it was a good season for transactions. some big deals were made. I would say that was really exciting.
No. The NBA is never exciting anymore. The good ole' days are gone.
heck yea. espeially the west
A lot of good chess moves; however, basketball has not been as exciting as it was in the 1980's:

Bird v. Magic, NCAA Finals

Magic playing all 5 positions in his first year in a playoff game

Lakers v. 76ers; Dr. J, Mo Cheeks %26amp; Moses Malone!

Lakers v. Celtics

Magic, James Worthy, Kareem, Cooper, Rambis, Norm Nixon/Byron Scott, et al v. Bird, McHale, The Chief, Ainge, M.L. Carr, DJ, et al

The emergence of the Bad Boys from Detroit

Celtics v. Pistons, The Chief clobbering Bill Laimbeer for a prior cheap shot.

Lakers v. Pistons

Portland had a good team; Clyde the Glide, Terry Porter, Cliff(ord) Robinson and "How much is a Duckworth?"

The emergence of MJ %26amp; the Bulls

The Laker Girls

Benoit Benjamin; will he bring a right and a left shoe to a game? Who's career shall he end in practice this time?

What an Era!
Yes, for now, but it could even be a better season that awaits in the future. U forgot Gilbert Arenas early sneaky return he wasn't even supposed to play, lol. Don't forget the Sixers trun around and Wizards had still made the playoffs when Gilbert Arenas was hurt. The Hawks made the playoff in about ten years, and the Hornets and Magic are in the playoffs two. The Jazz, Magic , and Hornets are a good teams now, i remember when they sucked a few years ago.
i would say yes and its gonna get even better w/ the p-offs

WEST- any one in the west could take home the tittle i mean with what the top 6 teams in the west 2+1/2 game apart and then all of them could beat Boston or Detroit

EAST- sure not as power full but the likely east championship math up of BOSTON-DETROIT definitely a 7 game heavyweight fight and dont count out Cleveland or Orlando or maybe even Washington

so yes one of the best seasons and i didn't even talk about the possible finals match ups
YES, it has been a great season, hard to say if its the most exciting ever, mainly because the playoffs are yet to begin!! The NBA sure is on its way back up to the status it once held in the days of MJ, Magic, and Bird!! Exciting for sure!!!

One other thing i would add on to that list of exciting things that happened this season:

The unpredictable Blazers and their winning streak at the beginning of the season!!

Also #1 pick Greg Oden being hurt for the whole year!!
